OUR RESTORE

Support the store that builds homes and hope.

Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and used building supplies and donated home goods at discounted prices.

We accept donations from contractors, retailers, and community members. Our store is filled with volunteers and staff receiving and preparing items for sale in the store. They are the friendly faces you see when you check out with your favorite finds.

When you shop, all the proceeds from the ReStore are used to fund Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope in Black Hawk, Butler, Bremer, and Buchanan counties. Shopping at the ReStore also diverts tons of material from the landfill each year!

Donate, Shop, or Volunteer at the Restore and make a difference in our community.

Team Member with Heart ❤️

Colin is the General Manager of the ReStore, where he helps fund Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. What inspires him most is being part of something bigger. Attending a home dedication and seeing the joy on a family’s face reminded him why this work matters—and continues to fuel his passion every day. Off the clock, he loves time with his wife and daughter, golfing, and cheering on the Braves. 🛠️🏡⚾

Our Commitment to Belonging and Opportunity
At Iowa Heartland Habitat for Humanity, we believe every person deserves a place to call home—and a community where they are welcomed, respected, and empowered to thrive. Rooted in our faith and guided by our commitment to Koinonia, we work to expand opportunity and foster belonging through every aspect of our mission—from how we build and who we serve to the culture we cultivate within our team. As an equal opportunity employer and housing organization, we reject discrimination in any form and strive to model a world where compassion and opportunity lead to lasting change. We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities—including members of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities, people of all faiths or none, and people of all abilities—because when we unite through God’s love, we build more than homes—we build community and hope for all.
Non-proselytizing policy
